Christmas is less than two weeks away, and December also seems to be a popular month for birthdays in my friends group. So naturally, I'm making up my cardboard cards for everyone! Merry Christmas!
Getting Crafty
The past few months have been crazy and I feel like I'm only now settling back into life. I haven't painted since May, and I haven't done much drawing either… a few birthday cards here and there but nothing serious. I've also been finding that I have started to miss creating and the joy that comes from using my gifts has been lacking. I come alive when I am actively using the talents and passions that God gave me and today I discovered how much I'd really been missing this.
It's not a big painting or a large scale drawing but it was a drawing none the less. I set out to just make a card for a friend and found myself starting to sketch a whole portrait instead.

Commission- In God's Hands
Just incase you thought I fell off the face of the earth, I'm actually just staying low and working on a few commissions as well as trying to pump out a few of my own pieces to hopefully be hung up around town (Huntsville) soon! Check back in a few weeks to see where you can find my new paintings when I finally get them out of my studio.
CIRAA
Last month I was commission to do a sketchbook style illustration project for the Canadian Independent Recording Artists Association. I'm looking forward to more fun opportunities in the future so stay tuned! Be sure to check out the video either by going to the vimeo link above or by visiting the CIRAA website! www.ciraa.ca
